Research Interests
My general research areas is computer security, specifically the intersection of security and software experts. Topics of interest include usable security and privacy, security of and trust in the software supply chain and open source ecosystem, as well as supporting software experts in designing, developing, and deploying secure, privacy-respecting, and user-friendly systems.
My research involves both quantitative and qualitative approaches, such as large-scale analyses of software repositories and communities, alongside interviews and surveys, to uncover underlying motivations, causes, and to understand the significant challenges software experts face.
My work has appeared in the top-tier security venues IEEE S&P, USENIX Security, ACM CCS, and NDSS, as well as field-specific venues such as CHI, SOUPS, and ACSAC. You can find my publications on my website or Google Scholar.
