#GivingPack: NC State CS Day of Giving

Each year, our incredible alumni, faculty, staff, students, ePartners and the broader computer science community come together to make an impact during Day of Giving. NC State Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising event celebrated university-wide. It’s also a chance to strengthen our department in critical areas. Last year’s Day of Giving supporters:

📈 funded the largest ever Ph.D. class
💻 provided the money to attract and hire top-tier teaching and research talent
🎓 supported numerous student orgs, including the CS Ambassadors and Women in Computer Science

For nearly 60 years, NC State's Department of Computer Science has worked to advance the citizens of North Carolina, the nation and the world through excellence in computing education and research.

Our department doesn't just focus on the now; we’re interested in what’s next. We’re recruiting top-tier research and teaching talent. We’re helping our students enter the workforce in a time of change, collaboration and growth. We’re engaging with key industry partners both at home and abroad. We produce the best of the best – from new tech and research to the talent of tomorrow: our CS grads!

This year, the first 100 alumni first-time donors will each unlock a $100 bonus to the first College of Engineering area they give to, from Dean Pfaendtner's $10,000 fund. Day of Giving kicks off at midnight on Wednesday, March 26.

Your support is critical in driving us forward and advancing computer science education and research. Thank you.
