Dutta Releases New Book
Congratulations to Dr. Rudra Dutta (left), associate professor of computer science at NC State University, for having his book entitled Designing for Network and Service Continuity in Wireless Mesh Networks, published by Springer. The book is co-authored by Dutta’s former student, Parth H. Pathak, and was entirely written while Pathak was still a PhD student at NC State.
Book description: “Designing for Network and Service Continuity in Wireless Networks” describes performance predictability of the new wireless mesh network paradigm, and describes considerations in designing networks from the perspective of survivability and service continuity metrics. The work provides design insights for network design researchers and industry professionals.
