Department Honors Hall of Fame Inductees and Rising Stars
Congratulations to the Computer Science alumni who were honored for their exemplary contributions to their profession, their community, and to the world at large during the Computer Science Department’s Alumni Hall of Fame ceremony held at the Park Alumni Center on November 2nd. 2023 inductees into the NC State Computer Science Alumni Hall of Fame include Claris Castillo-Singh & Jerry Tillman (shown here center & left respectively) and JC Strickland, Jr. (not pictured). Finding Your Wolfpack: Esports at NC State
The Esports Club empowers students to connect around gaming and build skills that intersect with their classes and careers. Now it’s giving them a front row seat to the expanding world of esports at NC State. Thanks to $16 million in support from the North Carolina General Assembly, NC State is poised to expand the footprint for esports on campus, and computer science is a key player in the strategy to define dedicated campus spaces, partnerships and research collaborations. A Leader Passes: Remembering Chancellor Larry Monteith
Chancellor Monteith oversaw a dramatic expansion in NC State's research enterprise, bringing the university to the threshold of the 21st century. His leadership helped pave the way for our national leadership role in public/private partnerships and research. When he took over as chancellor, there was only one building on Centennial Campus. He oversaw plans that began the transformation of the campus into what we have today. Above all else, he loved our great university and was committed to helping students succeed. He significantly changed the Office of the Provost and added the First Year College, a chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and the Park Scholarships program. Read More »

Personalized Job Search Agent in ePack
If you are a CSC student or recent graduate (within 12 months post-graduation) and would like to receive email notifications when new jobs are posted on ePack matching your profile, you can set up your own customized job search agent to receive just the postings you desire (intern vs. full time, etc). For a short video tutorial on how to create your own personalized job agent, click here.
The Alumni Association has partnered with the University Career Development Center to make ePACK available to NC State alumni. If you are a current Alumni Association member, update your online profile by visiting the Wolfpack Connect (alumni directory) and click on the ‘Update My Info’ tab on the upper right side of the page. Select the ‘Career Connections’ tab and then choose ‘yes’ beside the question, ‘Do you want access to ePACK?’
To access ePACK you must be a member of the Alumni Association and you must be an alumnus/alumnae of NC State. If you are not a member of the Alumni Association, you can join online. Once you have received an email confirming your membership, you will be able to register for access to ePACK.
